Cancellation Policy

Rock Solid Cheer must have written notice 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the session. An administrative fee is charged for all cancellations, regardless of the notice period. Additional fees apply for cancellations received within 72 hours.

RESCHEDULING

We ask that if you need to reschedule your session, please give us notice at least 72 hours prior to the original scheduled session. If a session is rescheduled less than 72 hours, it will be considered a cancellation and the cancellation fees will be charged.

DEPOSITS

A non-refundable deposit may be required to hold your booking. The deposit may be applied to your invoice. The deposit may be returned to your credit card if paying by cheque, email transfer or cash. The amount of your deposit will be determined by administration at the time of booking.

REFUNDS

Refunds will be issued for any unused fees if the cancellation policy is followed. Some travel fees may not be refundable. Transaction fees will not be refunded. An administrative fee may be assessed on all refunds.

FEE SCHEDULE

  • Administration Fee: $50

  • Cancellation Fee (within 72 hours): $50

  • Cancellation Fee (within 48 hours): $75

  • Cancellation Fee (within 24 hours): $100

(eg: Cancellation notice received within 24 hours; fee is Administration Fee $50 + Cancellation Fee (Within 24 hours) $100 for a total of $150)

NATURAL CAUSES/OUTSIDE FACTORS

Cancellations outside our control will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Typically, any unused fees will be refunded. However, due to unforeseen cases we may not be able to return all funds. You will be contacted immediately if a cancellation is deemed to be necessary.

Payment Policy

Invoices are typically sent one to two weeks prior to your session. You can request it earlier if needed. Please email if you need to request it earlier. Invoices are due within 15 days of the invoice date. Please make sure to indicate your method of payment on your service agreement. An online payment link will be available to you to make a secure online payment. See cancellation policy for refunds.

INTEREST CHARGES

Rock Solid Cheer reserves the right to charge interest on outstanding invoices. 2.5% Interest will be added on invoices that are outstanding for more than 45 days. Interest will be added monthly. Please contact our Accounting Department at accounting@rocksolidcheer.ca if you require special payment arrangements.

DEPOSITS

CURRENCY

All of our pricing is in Canadian Dollars (CAD). All of our invoices are subject to Canadian Good and Services Tax (GST) of 5%. Our GST number is 702432097RT0001.

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Rock Solid Cheer reserves the right to collect and use personal data collected on our waiver forms. All records that is collected is stored in a secure location for seven (7) years and then destroyed. Your personal information may be used to contact you with newsletters, marketing, or promotional material. Medical information collected will only be used in the event of a medical emergency and at the discretion of medical personnel. Rock Solid Cheer does not sell or distribute any information to third parties without prior consent.

Rock Solid Cheer will adhere to media polices that are set within a private facility. A private facility is defined as a school or gym. Media taken during our sessions is strictly used for our own promotional and marketing purposes only. We will not sell or distribute any media to third party sources without prior consent. All media taken in a public setting is free for public use. All participants can revoke consent to appearance in media at any time in writing to admin@rocksolidcheer.ca.

Rock Solid Cheer is bound by the Freedom of Information Protection (FOIP) Act and Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of Alberta.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
